What is Covered?

Some Exclusions
1. The hijack is less than 12 (twelve) consecutive hours.
2. Surgery or medical treatment, which in the opinion of the Physician treating you can be reasonably delayed until your return to Cambodia.
3. Any expenses incurred for services provided by another party for which You are not liable to pay, or any expenses already included in the cost of a scheduled journey;
4. The Insured Person who has sustained slight injuries, minor lesions, simple fractures and mild sickness, which can be treated locally and which do not prevent the Insured Person from continuing on her/his journey.
5. Mysterious disappearance and Unexplained.
6. Loss or damage whilst in the custody of an airline or other carrier, unless reported immediately on discovery and in the case of airline, a Property Irregularity Report is obtained;
7. Losses not reported to the police within 24 hours and not obtained at the place of loss;
8. Loss or damage caused by normal wear and tear, gradual deterioration, moths, vermin, inherent vice, mechanical, electrical breakdown, derangement, damage sustained due to any process initiated by an Insured Person to repair, clean or alter any property;
9. Confiscation by custom authorities.
10. Loss of money left Unattended in a public place or in an Unattended vehicle or as a result of the Insured Person’s failure to take due care and precautions in safeguarding and securing the money;
11. Losses not reported to the police within 24 hours and report not obtained at the place of loss;
12. Willful, malicious or unlawful act;
13. Pursuit of trade, business or profession;
14. Ownership, possession or use of vehicles, aircraft or watercraft;
15. Legal costs resulting from any criminal proceedings;
16. Caused by cancellation by the carrier;
17. Cancellation of the journey at the request of the Insured’s employer, spouse or parent;
18. The Insured Person fails to obtain a written confirmation from the operator of the Common Carrier as to the actual date and time the Insured Person’s Baggage arrives;
19. The Insured Person’s Baggage is legally delayed, held or confiscated by Customs or other Officials.
